講者簡介:

Emeritus Professor Jason Middleton

Emeritus Professor Jason Middleton is the UNSW Aviation’s Co-Founder and retiring Head of School. He was appointed as Head of Aviation School from 1995 and retired since 2017. His interest is in environmental fluid dynamics, and in particular aviation meteorology. In the past, he has undertaken research into sea-breezes, microbursts and wind gusts. Present interests are in wake flows arising from natural objects in wind and ocean current streams. In the aviation context, wakes have been a significant contributory factor in a number of aircraft accidents. He has held a Commercial Pilot License since 1973, and flies regularly as an instrument rated pilot.

 

Dr. Ian Douglas

Dr. Ian Douglas is a senior lecturer with the School of Aviation. His research interest is focused on ASEAN aviation, and his DBA research addresses the tensions between economic and institutional factors in development of airline strategy.

Dr. Nick Chung (PolyU)

Dr. Nick Chung is the Assistant Professor of Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He graduated from the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering, The University of Hong Kong in 2001. He obtained his MPhil and PhD in 2004 and 2007 respectively at the same University. His research interests include Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain collaboration, Production Scheduling, Distributed Scheduling, Distribution Network, etc.
